PA Frat Bro Among Five Sentenced In Student's Hazing Death: Report

A 21-year-old Pennsylvania man was among five fraternity brothers sentenced in the hazing death of a March 2021 Bowling Green University sophomore, NBC News reports.

Stone Foltz, 20, was forced to drink an entire bottle of alcohol at a Pi Kappa Alpha initiation event at the Ohio school, and was found unconscious by a roommate after members dropped him off their apartment, officials said. Foltz died three days after he was taken off life support.

Niall Sweeney, 21, of Erie, who pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence and hazing, was one of the two men who was sentenced to house arrest, NBC says. He was sentenced to 14 days in jail and two years of probation.
